Hi there! :-) You must be SO nervous and excited about the big day ahead. All the preparations...so many things to think about! It's a never-ending list! Well, let me help you out then. There's no need to worry about the music - leave that to me! :-) My name is Alexandra and I've been performing across Europe for the last 10 years or so, both as a solo performer and in different bands. With a Bachelor degree in Jazz music under my belt and two award-winning albums to my name, I can reassure you I take my art very seriously. |
So, I know how important music is and what it means to give attention to detail. -----> It's the little things which make the biggest difference!
The music of your wedding is definitely no minor detail.
It is very important indeed.
The music sets the mood, it can put everyone at ease and in some cases if you're not 100% sure of your choice, it can definitely make your special day take a turn for the worse...and we absolutely do not want that!
What I can do for you is offer my skills and expertise to help make your wedding the most

Can we have a one-on-one consultation?
I travel often and live abroad mainly, but we can definitely meet up face to face or have an oh-so-convenient skype call over a cup of coffee or tea!
The one-on-one consultation is absolutely included in all of this. I'd like to get to know you too!
Can I book you for my ceremony?
Absolutely! I can cater the songs to your taste. I have a standard repertoire I refer to but you can definitely choose the songs you know and love. Your wedding wouldn't be complete without that personal touch.
Can I book you for my ceremony and my reception?
You most certainly can. All I need to know is how many hours of music you would like me to play for and I can arrange my quote for you accordingly. Again, the setlist can be arranged to suit your personal tastes, although we do have a standard repertoire we go by.
We would like our guests to dance in the reception. Do you play with a band?
That can definitely be arranged. I have a few incredible musicians I know that I can rely on and who are only a phonecall away.
Do you provide your own sound equipment?
If necessary I can also arrange the sound on the day too. This will come at an extra cost, of course.

No matter the setting of your wedding - be it civil or religious, I can cater the songs to your personal tastes. If you would like your wedding to reflect you both as a couple, then you certainly should choose the songs you would love to hear! Besides that, I have my own selection which might just be up your alley already. These tracks are just with me and my guitar. |

So what's the deal?Usually a ceremony takes a maximum of one hour.
For this, I charge a fee of 500EUR. With a sound system for my own personal use, this would go up to 600EUR (incl. transportation costs). So that's an all inclusive package for you - music and sound equipment, totally hassle free for 600EUR! (this is excluding flight costs, if I am not in Malta at the time) |
But what if I want you for the reception too?Okay, so then you need to see how many hours you expect the party to go on for. Usually it's something like 2 to 3 hours of live band and in many cases, the couple hires a DJ, or asks the musicians to DJ for the rest of the night.
A fun idea is to have the live band for 2-3 pumping sets with a FULL BAND of 45 minutes (with breaks in between allowed, if necessary!) and to finish off with a playlist the couple makes themselves. If that's not up for your alley, you can also have something a bit more mellow. Perhaps you'd like me to play for another 2 hours solo...or else you'd like one more hour solo and then two hours with a band... It really depends on what YOU want. We can discuss this in detail! Bear in mind that more members and more hours equals more money. :-) It's only fair! |
